Writing a letter of complaint to Jewel in the Crown

That's how I spent my first Sunday back from holidays - composing a detailed account of the many ways in which the Le Meridien Kovalam Beach holiday we booked with them fell short of expectations, not only those based on Jewel in the Crown's own brochure, but also the letter they sent in the week before we flew out, and, to a lesser but nevertheless significant degree, the Le Meridien's own website.
