"All the stuff, including the bikes is in a storage space NEAR Reno...actually Carson city (about 30 min outside Reno). Everything is neatly on one clearly marked side of the storage space (which you can drive right up to). We'll give you the address and the combo before you go..."

Clue #1 (Danny's first clue to the Stash Of The Gods) and Clue #2 (Lara's Directions) follow.....

Clue #1: here is your first clue to the Stash Of The Gods

To obtain access to the inner sanctum, you'll need a special "code". Danny put a combination padlock on it.

So everyone find Danny's email and print it off or do whatever you normally do to make a note of Important Information like this! And jot down the Unit Number from Lara's mail too!

Clue #2: Directions!

>From I-80 in Reno:

7: Take the US-395 exit- exit number 15- towards SUSANVILLE/CARSON
CITY. 0.25 miles

8: Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp. 0.26 miles

9: Merge onto US-395 S. 9.38 miles

10: Take the US-395 S exit- exit number 57B- towards VIRGINIA CITY/CARSON CITY/SO LAKE TAHOE. 0.61 miles

11: Merge onto US-395. 18.91 miles

12: US-395 becomes US-395/N CARSON ST. 1.14 miles

13: Turn LEFT onto E WILLIAMS ST/US-50/NV-530. 0.95 miles

14: E WILLIAMS ST/US-50/NV-530 becomes US-50/NV-530. 0.39 miles

15: US-50/NV-530 becomes US-50. 6.26 miles

On the left there is a gas station and right before it you turn left onto Affonso Drive. If you can't turn left here ( I can't remember if it is possible or not) - go up to teh 341 exit, which is a very short distance further on, and turn around so you are coming back on the 50. THen turn right onto Affonso Dr.

The first or second turn on the right is Cowee Drive. You go straight through the trailer park to get to the storage sheds.

Head straight to the very end of the storage area and turn left.

Once in the Unit, the burningman stuff is on the right .

Phone first to check opening hours and after hours access if you need it
775 246 3129.

Bring a flashlight if it's dark - there is no light inside the storage shed.

Also phone beforehand to check that I am up to date on the rent - I have been dutifully sending them checks, but have no idea if they have been actually getting there or not. You may need to pay them back rent ($65 a
month) in order to get at the stuff ( I will pay you back).

The full address is V&T Management LLC, Comstock RV Park and Storage, 12 Cowee Drive, Carson City, NV 89706.

1. How many lengths of 8 ft PVC precisely? and what gauge? (we need 32, 16 with bell-ends)

2. A few extra plastic tubes as some of them looked the worse for wear. Probably easier to get them in Carson City than in SF right before BM though...

3. Crockery, cutlery, mugs

4. MORE WATER SPRAYS!

5. Inflatable furniture is good. And those armchairs with the cup holders!

6. don't put carpet down

7. food - buy snack foods, stuff to cook for one (so we don't have to all eat together), and fruit, and vegetables that can be eaten raw (carrots) maybe a couple of pastas and sauces - more salty stuff. Bagels and spreads!

8. shopping: super-k is at the First McCarran Boulevard junction in reno artcar/bar- happiness

9. the hub needs welding - not actually true.

10. costumes. The village theme this year is "tides".... ideas?

    - make a machine that explains how the tides work.
- do live demonstrations, using two plates, two pieces of string, and a fried egg. this is my party trick.
- cheapo inflatable dinghies as furniture. two birds, one stone
- And extra string/rope to tie them down with
- lilos
- whistles. occasionally running to the edge of the playa, and screaming 'get out of the water! get out of the water!'
- those "no heavy petting" posters that they have in public swimming baths
- one of those chairs on stilts

and finally... according to Stef, "this is about the best list I've seen anywhere".

I'm flying out on Monday 12th. Staying with Q&D&G for a couple of days, then Q and I are driving up to Oregon for a week (Thurs 15 - Weds 21), then down to San Jose again on the 22nd.

I'll most likely be staying in San Jose again until leaving for Burning Man, which will probably be sometime between the following Sunday (25) and Tuesday (27).
I hope to be back from BM on either the 2nd or 3rd (since my flight home from SFO is on the 4th)
