London: A Social History – Roy Porter

A slow read, started after Queens’ Play way back in late October.

Fascinating, but repetitive (for emphasis?) in places. Published in 1994, the final chapter is full of doom and gloom, with the glory years of the Millennium to the 2012 Olympics yet to come.
